In 2002, a group of fellow mariners made their first investment in a 1,700 DWT general cargo vessel, marking the beginning of our journey in the shipping industry. In 2005, the operation was transferred to Eksen Chartering, laying the groundwork for the establishment of new companies and services in the years that followed.

Expansion and relocation
By 2016, Exen had expanded to eight vessels. The company then relocated to the Netherlands, consolidating operations under the new name Exen Global, in pursuit of new commercial opportunities and broader horizons.
